About EfsSun Cargo
EfsSun Cargo is a logistics & vehicle-tracking application provided by Efssun Cargo Pvt. Ltd. (“we”, “us”, “our”). These policies describe how we handle your information, your rights, and your responsibilities when using the app.
If anything here conflicts with local law or platform rules (e.g., Google Play Developer Policies), the stricter rule applies.
Privacy Policy
Information We Collect
- Account & Profile: name, phone, email, company/unit identifiers, roles.
- Location Data: precise GPS coordinates (foreground & background) to enable live tracking, route replay, geofencing, duty status, and safety alerts.
- Device Data: device model, OS version, app version, language, IP-derived region, notification tokens; limited device identifiers for fraud prevention and security.
- Usage & Diagnostics: event logs, crash reports, performance metrics to improve reliability.
- Operational Content: trip summaries, odometer snapshots, expense receipts/photos you upload, and metadata such as timestamps.
How We Use Information
- Provide and improve app features (live tracking, trip history, alerts, route insights).
- Authenticate users, enforce security, prevent misuse and fraud.
- Send service messages (e.g., duty changes, geofence alerts) and important updates.
- Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.
Sharing & Transfers
- Within Your Organization: Admins and authorized managers may view drivers’ data to operate logistics.
- Service Providers: Hosting, analytics, crash reporting, and map services process data on our behalf under contracts.
- Legal & Safety: We may disclose data when required by law or to protect rights, safety, or property.
- No Selling: We do not sell your personal data.
Your Rights
- Access, correct, or update your profile data.
- Withdraw consent for background location (note: core features may stop working).
- Request data export or deletion (see Account & Data Deletion).
Data Retention
We retain data for as long as needed to provide the service (e.g., trip & audit logs), meet legal/compliance obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Where retention is no longer necessary, we delete or de-identify data.
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards (encryption in transit, access controls, least-privilege, logging). No system is 100% secure; promptly notify us of any suspected incident.
Children
This app is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age defined by your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect their data.
Data & Location Practices
Permissions We Request
- Location: precise, foreground and background (continuous tracking & routes).
- Notifications: service alerts (duty changes, geofence events, assignments).
- Media/Camera (optional): to attach expense slips, odometer photos, incident images.
Google Play Data Safety Mapping (Overview)
- Collected: Precise location, app diagnostics, device identifiers, account info, and user-provided content.
- Shared: Not sold. Shared only with processors (e.g., hosting, analytics) under contract.
- Data Handling: Encrypted in transit; user can request deletion; background collection disclosed.
Risk Disclosure
- Battery impact when background location is enabled.
- Data costs based on your mobile/ISP plan.
- Connectivity outages may delay or prevent updates.
- Incorrect configuration or disabled permissions can reduce functionality.
Terms & Conditions
License & Acceptable Use
- We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for your organization’s logistics operations.
- No reverse engineering, scraping, or unauthorized access attempts.
- Do not upload unlawful content or violate others’ rights.
Accounts & Organization Controls
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
- Your organization may configure roles/permissions and access operational data linked to your work.
Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Changes & Termination
We may update features or policies from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Governing Law
Unless your enterprise agreement states otherwise, these terms are governed by the laws of India. Venue and jurisdiction will be as per applicable law.
Account & Data Deletion
You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time.
How to Request Deletion
- Email us from your registered email at account@efssuncargo.in with subject Account/Data Deletion — EfsSun Cargo.
- Include: full name, registered phone/email, and (if applicable) your organization name.
- We will verify your identity and confirm deletion or explain if retention is required by law (e.g., audit logs for a limited period).
If your account is managed by your employer/organization, please contact your administrator as they may control retention needed for compliance and operations.
Policy Updates
We may revise these policies to reflect feature changes, legal requirements, or security improvements. We will update the “Effective date” above and, when appropriate, notify you in-app or by email.
